On the early morning of June 15th, the steel truss beam of the newly built Shanghai Nanjing Hefei high-speed railway, which weighed nearly a thousand tons and was constructed by China Railway Fourth Bureau, successfully crossed the Shanghai Chengdu Railway, laying the foundation for subsequent beam erection construction. It is reported that the newly-built Shanghai Nanjing Hefei high-speed railway is an important component of the "Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals" plan for the national medium - and long-term railway network along the Yangtze River.
