Feiyue China | Beautiful Hetao Irrigation Area

The Hetao Irrigation District is located in Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and has flourished due to the Yellow River. It is one of the important Yellow River irrigation districts in China. After the establishment of the People's Republic of China, a modern irrigation and drainage system centered around the Sanshenggong Water Conservancy Hub was built locally. In 2019, the Hetao Irrigation District was listed as a World Heritage Site for Irrigation Engineering due to its long history and outstanding water conservancy value. (New Society)
