Chinese and Cambodian naval fleets rushed to the exercise area. On the morning of the 26th local time, the China Cambodia "Jinlong-2025" joint exercise was conducted in the sea and air direction, with actual military exercises taking place in the surrounding sea and airspace of Sihanoukville Port in Cambodia. The exercise is set against the backdrop of "terrorists" driving armed speedboats to hijack passing merchant ships. Both sides dispatched 11 naval vessels and 3 air force helicopters to form a joint task force, conducting continuous exercises on joint response, accompanying escort, counter-terrorism and anti piracy, and sea air joint search and rescue. During the exercise, the task force comprehensively used methods such as shouting to persuade surrender, warning shooting, and blocking shooting to deter and stop "terrorists", and quickly implemented lockdown and surveillance measures, as well as boarding and capturing them. During the operation, the task force helicopter conducted humanitarian search and rescue for the "injured" who fell into the water, and transported them to the Chinese Changbai Mountain ship for emergency treatment. Subsequently, both sides jointly held a ceremony to conclude the live fire exercises in the sea and air directions. This exercise is the first sea air joint live fire exercise of the "Golden Dragon" series of joint exercises between China and Cambodia. It is also the first live fire exercise organized by the China Cambodia Yunrang Port Joint Support and Training Center, achieving the goal of mutual learning and improvement, and demonstrating the firm will and strong ability of both sides to jointly safeguard maritime security.
