On March 27th local time, the 23rd Bangkok International Book Fair opened at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. This book fair lasts for 12 days and is attended by nearly 400 publishers from over ten countries around the world. Chinese publishing institutions participated in the exhibition in groups, showcasing over 300 types and 700 volumes of high-quality Chinese books, fully demonstrating the fruitful achievements of China's publishing industry in the new era. At this book fair, many Chinese textbooks exhibited by the Chinese pavilion particularly attracted visitors to stop and read. Among them, the Thai version of "Easy Learning Chinese" published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press also held a release ceremony at this book fair. Teacher Ma Yamin, the author of this set of textbooks, said: More and more foreigners are starting to learn Chinese. In many countries, speaking Chinese has become a "stepping stone" to better job opportunities. Therefore, we have compiled high-quality Chinese textbooks with international standards to meet the needs of overseas learning and let more overseas learners "learn Chinese easily". In addition, many professional Chinese textbooks published by domestic publishing houses, such as hotel Chinese, e-commerce Chinese, logistics Chinese, as well as professional textbooks in traditional Chinese medicine, agriculture, engineering machinery, etc., also appeared at this book fair. More and more Chinese textbooks are going abroad. Fu Wenhong, President of the Thai Association of Local Chinese Teachers, stated that China's development has attracted worldwide attention. In addition to learning Chinese, China's development experience and advanced technology are also worth learning and referencing.
