After retrieving surveillance videos, on-site evidence collection, and expert identification, it has been determined that the bird species shot by the suspect using a slingshot is Tachybaptus Ruficollis (p ì t ī, Latin name Tachybaptus Ruficollis), which is a terrestrial wild animal of significant ecological, scientific, and social value. At present, the public security organs have lawfully summoned two suspects, Zou and Liang, and the case is under further investigation. They will be dealt with in accordance with the law and regulations in the future.
