In February, the Purchasing Managers' Index of China's manufacturing industry increased by 1.1 percentage points compared to the previous month. Production and business activities are in an expansion zone, and the overall level of economic prosperity has rebounded, naturally generating more job demand. At the job fair, some business leaders stated that there has been a significant increase in orders and a large labor shortage since the beginning of this year. The emergence and development of emerging industries, as well as the upgrading and integration of traditional industries, are cultivating new occupational sequences and promoting the formation of new employment growth points. In recent years, industries such as new energy vehicles have flourished, giving rise to a large number of emerging jobs. According to relevant data, in the first week of spring recruitment in 2025, the national recruitment demand increased by 219% month on month, and the demand for talents in the fields of low altitude economy, integrated circuits, and new energy vehicles all increased year-on-year. Accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces, vigorously developing emerging and future industries, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries will help create favorable conditions for the emergence of new jobs and create an important engine for promoting employment growth. Resolving the worries of job seekers can effectively enhance their confidence and enthusiasm in employment. For example, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone has launched a tiered housing system for young people, which includes "7-day free accommodation for job seekers, 3-month free short-term rental for internships, and 3-year discounted long-term rental for employment"; Guizhou Bijie organizes free return to work buses and trains to help migrant workers return to work after the holiday; Hunan Ningxiang has launched online services such as "live streaming guidance" and online interviews, making it convenient for job seekers to connect with enterprises in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area without leaving their homes. Policies and measures have been introduced in various regions to provide convenience for job seekers, help them accurately connect with employers, and provide strong guarantees for enhancing the vitality of the job market. The plan for a year lies in spring. To maintain the warmth of the job market and provide sufficient human resources supply for economic growth, all parties need to work harder. On the one hand, we will continue to promote the integration of industry and education, strengthen cooperation between schools and enterprises, promote mutual development of industries and talent cultivation, and solve the structural contradiction of "having work but no one to do it, and having people but no work to do it".
