The Phase V project of Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port is located in the Longxue Island operation area of Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port. The project plans to construct four 200000 ton container berths with a length of 1880 meters; Construct 15 berths for 5000 ton container barges and 5 berths for workboats, with a total shoreline length of 1931 meters for barge berths; The designed annual throughput capacity exceeds 6 million TEUs, with an estimated total project investment of 16.35 billion yuan. Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port is located in the center of the the Pearl River Delta, which is connected to the river and the sea, covering 14 large and medium-sized cities such as Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan and Jiangmen with a radius of 100 kilometers, and has significant advantages in comprehensive transportation costs and logistics time. At present, the Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port has built 20 large deep-water container berths, with a deep-water container coastline of over 7000 meters. The port area has abundant shoreline resources, equipped with a large number of professional barge berths and advanced loading and unloading equipment. The annual container throughput capacity of the port area reaches 24 million TEUs, ranking among the top container terminals in the world in terms of overall scale and capacity.
