This year's government work report proposes to actively respond to population aging, improve policies and mechanisms for the development of elderly care and the elderly care industry, and vigorously develop the silver haired economy. The aging rate in our country is accelerating, and the elderly population base is large. Some grassroots medical and health institutions still face problems such as the division of medical and elderly care resources, shortage of professional talents, and insufficient service capabilities. It is urgent to establish a cross departmental collaborative mechanism to promote the transformation and upgrading of the medical and health infrastructure project. Suggest implementing the construction of a three-level medical and elderly care consortium consisting of county hospitals, township health centers, and village clinics. Construct a comprehensive medical and elderly care service center in the central town, integrating functions such as medical nursing, rehabilitation therapy, and day care. At the same time, building a unified medical and elderly care information platform, breaking down the information barriers between medical institutions and elderly care institutions, and achieving real-time sharing of elderly health records, diagnosis and treatment records, nursing needs, and other information in a compliant and scientific manner.
