Zhang Junjie, a deputy to the National People's Congress and vice president of Nanjing First Hospital in Jiangsu Province, was interviewed by reporters. Zhang Junjie stated that during the 2024 National People's Congress, the proposal I submitted to further promote the application of the medical imaging "cloud film" platform received high attention from relevant departments. In May of that year, Jiangsu took the lead in building the provincial health cloud imaging platform, allowing doctors to access imaging data of patients from other places anytime and anywhere by simply moving the mouse in front of the computer. Patients no longer have to carry a large bag of film around. After the platform is built, it is estimated that Jiangsu Province can reduce the cost of repeated inspections by about 2 billion yuan throughout the year. In November last year, the National Health Commission and seven other departments jointly released the "Guiding Opinions on Further Promoting Mutual Recognition of Inspection and Testing Results in Medical Institutions". With the continuous improvement of these systems, technologies, and various forms of support, I believe that universal mutual recognition will soon be achieved at the national level. At that time, seeking medical treatment for patients from other places will be more worry free, time-saving, and cost-effective.
