Recently, the National Healthcare Security Administration issued the "Guidelines for the Establishment of Ear, Nose and Throat Medical Service Price Projects (Trial)", which unified the original price items into 164 items, guiding various regions to standardize the prices of ear, nose and throat medical services, and helping more patients to "hear and speak". In terms of cochlear implants, in order to cooperate with the implementation of the cochlear implant procurement policy, the project guidelines have established projects such as "cochlear implant adaptation", "cochlear implant", and "cochlear implant removal". Among them, "cochlear implantation" includes "cochlear malformation" as an additional item, encouraging medical institutions to provide more standardized treatment services for patients with complex cases, fully reflecting the value of complex medical technology. For cases where the implant is damaged or needs to be removed due to infection, collision, or other reasons, the "cochlear implant removal" price item also provides a clear charging basis. In terms of hearing aids, the National Healthcare Security Administration has conducted research and found that many elderly people have given up using hearing aids due to abnormal noise. For this purpose, the project guidelines specifically regulate pricing items such as "hearing aid device adaptation", "bone conduction hearing aid device implantation", "middle ear hearing aid device implantation", and "hearing aid implant device removal". It is reported that the National Healthcare Security Administration will guide various regions to set reasonable price levels in the next step, promote medical institutions to provide more refined hearing aid device implantation and debugging services for elderly people with hearing loss, and better meet the medical needs of elderly people with different types of hearing loss. In the field of laryngology, with the continuous development of medical technology, some emerging laryngeal techniques have become key to improving the quality of life of laryngeal cancer patients. Assisted speech tube implantation after total laryngectomy is an important method for regaining speech function after total laryngectomy, and it is still in the promotion stage in China. To encourage the popularization of the project, the project guidelines establish the "Installation and Removal/Replacement of Pronunciation Devices" project, encouraging medical institutions to provide diagnosis and treatment services for patients with pronunciation disorders. It is reported that in the next step, the National Medical Insurance Administration will guide the medical insurance bureaus of various provinces to refer to the project approval guidelines and formulate a unified price benchmark for the whole province. The overall planning regions with price management authority will compare the price benchmark of the whole province and determine the actual implementation price level by fluctuating up and down.
