It is the ability of computing device clusters or centers to process various information. Depending on the device used and the strength of the computing power provided, computing power can be divided into basic computing power, intelligent computing power, and supercomputing power. Developing computing power can not only fully tap into the value of data elements, accelerate the process of digital industrialization and industrial digitization, empower traditional industries to transform and upgrade, but also stimulate new technologies, models, and formats, effectively support strategic emerging industries and future industries such as biopharmaceuticals, genetic technology, fintech, deep sea, air, and new materials, and help build a digital China. In the future, to continuously enhance China's international competitiveness in computing power, we need to take multiple measures and implement prudent policies. Accelerate the layout of intelligent computing infrastructure and create a comprehensive intelligent computing industry ecosystem. Orderly guide the construction of intelligent computing infrastructure, encourage all parties to explore intelligent computing centers, objectively calculate computing power demand based on development reality, and coordinate the layout of intelligent computing centers. Strengthen the exploration and innovation of the operation mode of the computing power industry, effectively improve the utilization rate of intelligent computing centers, promote the continuous transformation of the computing power industry structure, and jointly build an intelligent computing power industry ecosystem.
