On January 16th, the "Hong Kong Jockey Club Presentation Series: The World of C é zanne and Renoir - Collection Exhibition at the French Oranges Museum and the Mus é e d'Orsay" opened at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. This is the first large-scale exhibition in Hong Kong with French Impressionist painters Paul C é zanne and Pierre Auguste Renoir as the main themes. This exhibition is organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and jointly planned by the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the French Orange Garden Art Museum, and the Olympic Museum. The exhibition showcases a total of 52 national treasure level paintings from two well-known museums in France. This exhibition also specially designed train platforms, simulated dialogues between two artists, and footprint maps as limited content for the Hong Kong station, introducing the life anecdotes and deep friendship of C é zanne and Renoir, allowing everyone to understand their art from a new perspective. The exhibition also showcases Picasso's works and introduces the influence of C é zanne and Renoir on this younger generation. (New Society)
