Recently, at the national science teacher training course held in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, the characteristic content of technology empowering the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine was welcomed by teachers from all over the country. They are all focusing on how to effectively utilize and integrate high-tech to promote the integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture into schools, effectively enhancing the physical and mental health of young people and their interest in traditional Chinese medicine culture. In the eyes of Jiang Hongjie, director of the Professional Committee for Talent Training, Evaluation and Certification of China Tonic Diet Research Association and associate professor of acupuncture and moxibustion and Massage College of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, traditional Chinese medicine culture is like a heavy historical book. The introduction of traditional Chinese medicine culture into campus is not only an important measure in the field of education and cultural inheritance in recent years, but also a bridge for young people to understand and inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that traditional Chinese medicine embodies profound philosophical wisdom and thousands of years of health and wellness concepts and practical experience of the Chinese nation. It is a treasure of ancient Chinese science and the key to opening the treasure trove of Chinese civilization. The unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine culture entering the classroom can stimulate students' curiosity. In 2024, Jiang Hongjie and his team held a unique traditional Chinese medicine culture on campus event at Fresh Hutong Primary School in Dongcheng District, Beijing. In the class, they started from the story of Hua Tuo, a famous doctor familiar to students, vividly explained the little knowledge of human acupoints and acupuncture and moxibustion, conveyed to students the profound concept of "treating diseases before they get sick" and "treating diseases before they get sick is the foundation of health", and led students to experience the Five Animal Opera, so that everyone could feel the charm of Chinese medicine in sports. He also worked with the students to explore the mathematical principles of traditional Chinese medicine scales, and the students actively participated in class with great interest. Nowadays, the integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture into campus activities is becoming increasingly common. In Shanghai, Baotong Primary School in Huangpu District offers a series of courses on promoting traditional Chinese medicine culture during the extended class time every Friday noon. Dazhaoying School in Xinxiang County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province arranges traditional Chinese medicine classes for students every Friday. Under the guidance of professional teachers, students actively try moxibustion and ear patches, experience the magical effects of acupoint stimulation, and immerse themselves in the world of traditional Chinese medicine culture. Since its launch in September 2023, the Beijing Tongrentang "Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture into Campus" public welfare series has established cooperation with more than 30 universities across the country, serving a total of 41000 teachers and students through after-school extended classes, health lectures, cultural clubs, traditional Chinese medicine culture festivals, and other forms, covering primary and secondary schools, higher education institutions, and vocational schools. Technology empowers the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture. With the help of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, traditional Chinese medicine culture has been better displayed and disseminated, demonstrating unprecedented charm. At Wanghu Primary School in Hefei, Anhui Province, the school conducted a "Chinese Herbal Medicine Observation Experiment" to allow children to touch, smell, and taste various Chinese herbal medicines, and to understand their effects through a combination of multiple senses. The course also utilizes VR technology to allow children to feel as if they are in the growth environment of medicinal herbs, experiencing the magic and mystery of traditional Chinese medicine firsthand. As a company dedicated to innovation and cultural promotion of traditional Chinese medicine, Zhongrui Education builds a simulated virtual world of traditional Chinese medicine through digital technology, helping young people freely explore, learn, and experience traditional Chinese medicine culture. "Students can not only learn how to deal with common health problems such as myopia, obesity, scoliosis, etc. through daily healthy work and rest, meridian and acupoint massage, traditional Chinese medicine Tonic Diet, etc. on the simulation platform, but also customize life guidelines for themselves to improve physical fitness." said Wang Jing, director of Zhongrui Education. With the support of technological power, traditional Chinese medicine culture can better take root on campus. Teenagers can learn more health prevention and treatment techniques and methods through the study of traditional Chinese medicine, and apply them to their learning and daily life. Gao Weiwei, Deputy Director of the Biotechnology Research Center at the Institute of Medicinal Plants, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, believes that traditional Chinese medicine culture is a carrier that carries brilliant civilization and maintains national spirit. The integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture into schools and the application of intelligent traditional Chinese medicine technology can enable young people to learn about excellent traditional culture from an early age, enhance cultural identity and pride, promote the cultivation of innovative thinking and practical abilities, and promote the prosperity and development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.
