The construction of the Shenjiang Railway has made significant progress. On January 11th, the first steel beam of the Jiya Waterway Extra Large Bridge on the Shenjiang Railway was erected using a "ship floating crane+support push" method, marking the transition of the bridge into the upper structure construction phase. The Jiya Waterway Extra Large Bridge is located in Zhongshan City and is a key control project along the entire Shenjiang Railway. It is 6.8 kilometers long and has a main span of 408 meters. It is a steel-concrete composite beam cable-stayed bridge with a total of 31 sections of steel beams. The first steel beam installed this time is 12.5 meters long, 17 meters wide, 4 meters high, and weighs 224.9 tons. The Shenjiang Railway, which passes through Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen, is an important part of the coastal corridor of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, and is a major transportation infrastructure that serves the "the Belt and Road" initiative and supports the construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the Guangdong Free Trade Zone.
