On January 10th, the Information Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government held a press conference for the Guangdong Maritime Department to serve the construction of the "New Guangdong on the Sea", announcing that the Guangdong Maritime Bureau and the South China Sea Navigation Support Center, under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, Ministry of Transport, and Maritime Safety Administration, are focusing on implementing the specific deployment of the Provincial Party Committee's "1310" and fully serving the construction of the "New Guangdong on the Sea". The Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration and the South China Sea Navigation Support Center have formulated relevant navigation safety guarantee plans, fully ensuring the completion and opening of the Shenzhen Zhongshan Passage and the Huangmao Sea Cross Sea Passage, ensuring the smooth construction of the Shiziyang Passage, and solving the problem of convenient navigation for the river sea bridge and waterway of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge. Guo Weibin, Deputy Director of Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, introduced that Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration and the South China Sea Navigation Support Center served the construction of "one point, two places" in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and completed the construction of the maritime coordinated development mechanism in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the construction of the the Pearl River Estuary Water Traffic Safety Special Supervision Area, two pilot tasks of transportation power, and won excellent grades.
