Policy warmth helps promote the prosperous development of the domestic tourism market

As an important force in boosting cultural and tourism consumption, promoting economic development, and enhancing international exchanges, the potential of China's inbound tourism market is constantly being unleashed. Recently, Fujian, Jiangsu, Tianjin, Guizhou and other places have issued new policies aimed at better promoting the prosperity and development of the inbound tourism market. For example, on January 5th, the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and other departments jointly issued the "Several Measures to Promote the High Quality Development of Inbound Tourism and Build a World Famous Tourist Destination in Fujian Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Several Measures"), proposing to attract more inbound tourists to Fujian, enhance the international influence of Fujian culture, showcase the new image of "Fresh Fujian at the Starting Point of the Maritime Silk Road", and further expand, strengthen and improve the cultural and tourism economy. Fu Yifu, a senior researcher at Xingtu Financial Research Institute, told reporters that the new measures introduced by many places are a positive response to the comprehensive relaxation and optimization of China's transit visa free policy, which is beneficial for economic growth and also helps to protect and inherit cultural heritage. China has abundant cultural and tourism resources in various regions, with distinct regional characteristics. From water towns in Jiangnan to deserts in Northwest China, from historical sites to folk customs, various landscapes add infinite charm to the inbound tourism market. However, due to various factors, the development space of this market has not been fully opened up for a long time. Hong Yong, a think tank expert at the China Digital Reality Integration 50 Forum, stated in an interview with reporters that the uneven quality of tourism services, insufficient cultural promotion, and the need to improve entry convenience have hindered the further expansion of the inbound tourism market. Nowadays, relevant departments in many regions are taking targeted measures to fill the gaps and comprehensively promote the improvement and efficiency of inbound tourism work. From the perspective of the new round of measures, many regions are focusing on the three major elements of resources, customer sources, and services, leveraging the advantages of overseas cultural and tourism institutions, international friendly cities, and overseas Chinese resources to build a "big external promotion" pattern for cultural and tourism, and striving to establish local brands; Improve the international airline network, enrich cruise routes, and facilitate the entry of overseas tourists; Improve the quality of inbound tourism services, innovate product supply, and better meet the high-quality needs of international tourists; Strengthen departmental and government enterprise collaboration, optimize the construction of convenient facilities in transportation, ports, customs clearance, and scenic areas, establish "one-stop" service windows, and promote the convenient application of various certificates in cultural and tourism venues. At the same time, in order to increase the increase in inbound tourism, some places also reward business entities that perform well. For example, according to the "Several Measures", travel agencies that organize the reception of no less than 3000 overseas overnight group tourists, provide foreign language tour guides, and receive overseas overnight group tourists ranked among the top ten in the province with a growth rate ranking among the top five will be rewarded with RMB 400000 to RMB 600000 per agency throughout the year. Hong Tao, Vice Chairman of the China Society of Consumer Economics, told reporters that the real monetary reward measures can greatly stimulate the enthusiasm of business entities to participate in the expansion of the inbound tourism market, promote healthy competition in the market, drive the development of related industries such as hotels and catering, and inject vitality into inbound tourism and economic growth.
