Article 26 of the Regulations on the Administration of the Renminbi of the People's Republic of China stipulates that the following acts that damage the Renminbi are prohibited: (2) making, imitating, buying and selling Renminbi designs. Article 4 of the "Management Measures for the Use of Renminbi Patterns" stipulates that the use of Renminbi patterns on sacrificial offerings, daily necessities, and vouchers is prohibited.
