The reporter learned from China Railway Construction Corporation that with the stable installation of the last prefabricated box girder, the main bridge of the Qinghua Expressway Lianzhu Interchange, constructed by Guangdong Transportation Group and constructed by China Railway 14th Bureau, has been successfully closed, marking the completion of the main line of the Qinghua Expressway Guangzhou section. The Qinghua Expressway starts from Taihe Town, Qingxin District, Qingyuan City, connects with the Shanzhan Expressway, and ends at Tanbu Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, connecting with the Guangzhou West Second Ring Expressway. It has a total length of about 54 kilometers and a designed speed of 120 kilometers per hour. Among them, as the largest transportation hub on the entire line, the Lianzhu Interchange is a controlling node of the Guangzhou section of the Qinghua Expressway. The interchange covers an area of about 700 acres, with a highest point of about 30 meters. It adopts a fully turbine composite layout, consisting of one main line and 12 ramps "blended" together. The project has a large volume and high construction difficulty. During the construction process of the interchange, the construction team focused on the "skylight point" of the construction, dynamically optimized the construction organization and traffic diversion plan, and collaborated with traffic police, road administration, and operation units to conduct multiple simulations and scientifically divide the operation sections, achieving 12 crossings of the existing G94 Zhaohua Expressway on the Helong section, ensuring the precise closure of the main bridge of the Lianzhu Interchange. The Qinghua Expressway is a key construction project of transportation infrastructure in Guangdong Province. After its opening and operation, it will become a new fast track connecting the core area of the Pearl River Delta and the ecological development zone in northern Guangdong, which will help further optimize the regional development pattern and inject new transportation momentum into industrial synergy, cultural tourism integration, and urban-rural development.
