On May 29th, the 2025 China Central Asia Media Cooperation Forum with the theme of "Silk Road Together, Media Partners: Building a Closer China Central Asia Community of Shared Future" was held in Astana, Kazakhstan. President Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan sent a congratulatory letter to the forum. Tokayev pointed out in his congratulatory letter that the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, as a strategic concept to promote global cooperation, has won wide recognition from the international community. Kazakhstan attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with China. The 2025 China Central Asia Media Cooperation Forum aims to deepen the integration and cooperation between China and Central Asian countries. It is an important event based on consensus and trust in the media field, dedicated to strengthening partnership. Wishing the forum a complete success and fruitful results! The attendees believe that media exchange is an important component of China Central Asia relations. Chinese and Central Asian media should grasp the trend of the times, expand cooperation ideas, share stories of good friendship and cooperation, and contribute wisdom and strength to building a closer China Central Asia community with a shared future. This forum is jointly organized by People's Daily and the Kazakhstan Presidential Radio and Television Administration. More than 200 media representatives, relevant department heads, experts, scholars, and business representatives from China and Central Asian countries attended the meeting.
