On May 26th, the reporter learned from the National Space Administration that after comprehensive analysis and decision-making by the Engineering Mission Command, the Tianwen-2 mission of the planetary exploration project is scheduled to be launched on May 29th. At present, preparations for the mission are steadily progressing at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The Long March 3B Y10 carrier rocket carrying out this launch is about to be refueled with propellant. Previously, Tianwen-2 detector completed the technical area assembly, testing, refueling, transfer, functional inspection, joint testing and other work as planned. The carrier rocket has completed tasks such as transition, lifting, rocket docking, fairing assembly, and overall inspection and testing.
