The management measures clearly define the principle of voluntary use of network numbers and network cards, encourage relevant competent departments, key industries and Internet platforms to promote the application of network numbers and network cards according to the principle of user voluntariness, but at the same time retain and provide existing or other legal ways to register and verify identity; Encourage Internet platforms to access national network identity authentication public services, but ensure that users who do not use network numbers and network cards enjoy the same services as users who use network numbers and network cards; Strictly in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law and other regulations, fully protect the rights and interests of citizens' personal information. At present, the national network identity authentication public service platform has been launched. Users can apply for and use network numbers and network cards through the national network identity authentication APP, so as to reduce the collection and retention of personal information in some Internet services and protect the security of citizen identity information.
