On May 25th, the 20th Western China International Fair (hereinafter referred to as "WCIF") opened in Chengdu. The theme of this year's Western China International Fair is "Deepening Reform, Boosting Momentum, Expanding Opening Up, and Promoting Development". For the first time, dual guest countries (Laos, Hungary) and dual guest provinces (Zhejiang Province, Qinghai Province) were established, with the United Arab Emirates as a special invited partner. More than 200 foreign guests from over 30 countries (regions) attended the opening ceremony, including political leaders from Laos, Hungary, Vanuatu, and other countries, 11 foreign ministerial level officials, representatives from 25 foreign embassies and consulates in China, as well as heads of well-known enterprises, including 89 heads of Fortune Global 500 companies, well-known multinational corporations, and foreign-funded business associations. The main exhibition hall is located in Xibo City, with a "1+3" exhibition display area consisting of three main theme exhibition areas: Xibo Achievements Exhibition, Open Cooperation, New Industrial Momentum, and Better Life. The exhibition covers an area of 200000 square meters and attracts more than 3000 enterprises from 27 provinces (regions, municipalities) in China and 62 countries (regions) overseas.
