The symposium on the establishment of ethnic language programs by the Central Radio and Television Station and the 75th anniversary of the birth of ethnic broadcasting in New China was held in Beijing on the 22nd. On May 22, 1950, the Tibetan language broadcast of the former Central People's Broadcasting Station was launched, marking the birth of the ethnic broadcasting industry in New China. As the only ethnic language independent institution in the central media, the National Language Radio of China has solidly promoted the high-quality revision and upgrading of four sets of broadcasting frequencies and five ethnic language websites, created multi platform new media accounts, formed a cluster of ethnic language program dissemination, launched key programs such as "Deep Affection of Leaders in Snowy Mountains", and created high-quality programs and special reports such as "The Sentiment of Pomegranate Seeds" and "We", telling the stories of the unity and struggle of all ethnic groups and creating a better life with sincerity, and creating a good atmosphere for consolidating and developing the great unity of the Chinese nation. At the seminar, experts, scholars, listeners' representatives, and representatives of ethnic language program staff had in-depth exchanges on conveying the voice of the Party, promoting ethnic culture, and uniting forces, providing suggestions and recommendations for promoting the high-quality development of the Party's ethnic work in the new era. Meng Man, a representative of experts and scholars and a professor at the School of History and Culture of the Central University for Nationalities, stated that the national language program of CCTV conveys the voice of the Party and the concept of the Chinese nation as one family to ethnic compatriots in border areas, reflecting the Party and the state's emphasis and care for ethnic minorities. For 75 years, the program has not only promoted policies, but also uncovered numerous touching stories. We look forward to the continued innovation of ethnic language programs in the era of integrated media, and the development of more integrated media programs that meet the needs of the times, continuously promoting the awareness of the Chinese nation's community among the people.
