This Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival focuses on integrating intangible cultural heritage into modern life, showcasing innovative achievements in the integration of intangible cultural heritage and technology, and promoting in-depth cooperation between intangible cultural heritage brand IP and related fields. Hu Yan introduced that this year's Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival has set up a special section on technology empowerment of intangible cultural heritage, and launched the "Technology Empowerment of Intangible Cultural Heritage Special Exhibition", which presents the vivid practice of technology empowerment of intangible cultural heritage through three aspects, with the theme of "The Realm of Reality and Reality · Smart Craftsmanship". One is to showcase innovative applications of virtual reality, intelligent interaction, and other technologies in the field of intangible cultural heritage. Sixteen research institutions and technology companies, including University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, BOE Art Cloud, Honghong Qitian, and Guangyu Laite, have inspired and obtained materials from representative projects of intangible cultural heritage. The combination of AR technology in "Digital Sichuan Noodles" enables real-time interaction of Sichuan Opera face changing, allowing viewers to transform from "viewers" to "performers" and experience the unique charm of Sichuan Opera's "form in meaning, spirit in change". The immersive projection and digital weaving machine interaction device are used in "Weaving Shadow Wonders". When the audience slides the shuttle of the digital weaving machine, they will experience the weaving process of Shu brocade in person amidst the sound of silk weaving. The second is to launch multiple debut games. Focusing on the latest achievements in digital communication and display, using innovative projects as carriers, we deeply integrate intangible cultural heritage such as solar term culture and traditional martial arts with game development, VR digital exhibitions, and motion capture. The mobile game "24 Solar Terms" allows people to experience the 72 phenological periods and the local culture of Sichuan, spreading the culture of solar terms. The VR digital art exhibition "Interesting Oracle Bones" uses virtual reality technology to showcase excellent traditional Chinese culture such as Oracle Bones. The digital cultural experience space of Tai Chi integrates motion capture technology, develops an intelligent follow-up system for "practicing Tai Chi", and enhances the public's understanding and interest in Tai Chi, especially among young people. The third is to increase the interactive experience. Through a combination of virtual and real experience design, we strive to create interactive scenes that cover various forms such as digital games, digital exhibitions, and intelligent devices.
