Hong Kong Customs holds the 26th World Customs Organization Asia Pacific Summit

On the 19th, Hong Kong Customs held the 26th World Customs Organization Asia Pacific Summit, which lasted for 4 days. This conference will cover discussions on various customs initiatives and actions in the Asia Pacific region, allowing participants to share their opinions and make decisions to promote connections and trade facilitation measures among regional members, and to advance the development of customs affairs within the region. Chen Zida, Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Region of the World Customs Organization and Commissioner of Customs of Hong Kong, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, stating that the conference has become an important platform for discussing regional policy directions and formulating future development guidelines for global customs. Participants are encouraged to share their opinions and experiences, propose initiatives, and learn about the latest developments in customs. He hopes that members of the Asia Pacific region can jointly undertake customs affairs, promote regional cooperation, and address global challenges. The conference is the highest level annual meeting of the World Customs Organization in the Asia Pacific region, bringing together approximately 120 customs officials, senior officials, and representatives from regional organizations of the World Customs Organization.
