May 18th is International Museum Day. On that day, 25 museums in Macau held the launch ceremony for the 2025 Macau International Museum Day series of activities at the Grand Battery Corridor, encouraging citizens and tourists to visit cultural and museum venues and enrich their cultural life. At the launch ceremony, there were multiple activities that attracted active participation from the public. The museum guide led people from the corridor of the Big Battery to visit several museums such as the Mirror Lake Historical Memorial Hall, the Fire Museum, and the former residence of General Yip Ting, exploring the historical development of Macau and feeling the patriotism of the country; The real-life puzzle game "Escape from Museum Time and Space" explores the Macau Museum through gameplay, providing participants with an immersive cultural and museum experience. The joint exhibition "Museum Corridor", jointly planned by 25 museums, will also be exhibited in the Grand Battery Corridor from now until June 15th, providing exhibition information for Macao cultural and museum institutions, and launching the "Joint Museum Seal" activity. Visitors can visit various museums to collect unique commemorative seals and make colored seal postcards. This year, in order to further promote the entry of culture and museums into communities, some locations in Macau will also have "mobile museums" on the 17th and 18th, allowing more citizens and tourists to pay attention to the museums scattered in various communities and jointly promote the sustainable development of the cultural and museum industry.
