Hong Kong's overall ranking remains third in the world and continues to lead in the Asia Pacific region. A spokesperson for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government stated that the report fully recognizes Hong Kong's leading position and strength as an international financial center. Hong Kong's ranking in "human capital", "infrastructure" and "level of financial industry development" has risen to second in the world, while its ranking in "business environment" and "reputation and overall" has risen to third in the world. In addition, Hong Kong ranks ahead in multiple financial industries, with "investment management," "insurance," and "financing" ranking first globally, and "banking" ranking third globally. The report also evaluated the level of financial technology in financial centers, and Hong Kong's ranking further jumped five places to fourth in the world. The spokesperson said that with the solid support of the country, Hong Kong will continue to leverage the advantages of "one country, two systems", actively integrate into the overall development of the country, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, and play the role of a "super liaison" and "super value-added person".
