Guangdong builds a precise docking platform for doctoral and postdoctoral projects

What kind of sparks will collide when robots enter the medical industry, when labor arbitration and AI are deeply integrated? On the morning of March 16th, the results transformation activity of the 2nd Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Doctoral Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the Bo Chuang Bay Area Project Matchmaking Conference (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Session) were held at the Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. At the event, technological achievements such as the "L4 level intelligent arbitration system for labor and personnel disputes (Zhongcai Huiding)" and the "new generation of pan vascular intervention surgical robots" were showcased, showcasing the "doctoral and postdoctoral strength" of Guangdong's scientific and technological innovation and high-quality development. Through the display of achievements, expert sharing, project roadshows, and precise on-site docking, it accelerates the transformation of doctoral and postdoctoral research results into new quality productivity, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of artificial intelligence and robotics industries in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. More than 170 people, including top experts in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, doctoral and postdoctoral entrepreneurial teams, investment and financing institutions, incubation institutions, industrial parks, postdoctoral innovation platforms, and industry association doctoral and postdoctoral fellows, attended the event. A project achievement display area will be set up at the event site to comprehensively showcase the work achievements of postdoctoral fellows in Guangdong Province, the cultivation plan of Guangdong Hundred Enterprises Innovation Platform, the special events for competitions and project docking, and the outstanding innovative project achievements of postdoctoral fellows in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, demonstrating the important role of postdoctoral fellows in technological breakthroughs. The list of the first 20 postdoctoral innovation platform cultivation units in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics was also announced at the event. In the future, the plan will focus on promoting more "gazelle" enterprises, technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, and startups to establish postdoctoral innovation platforms. Expert "Pulse Check": Cross border Dialogue Boosts Innovative Thinking During the expert sharing session, Professor Chen Junlong, a foreign academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Dean of the School of Computer Science and Engineering at South China University of Technology, Dr. Wang Bing, a partner at Dongfang Fuhai, and Dr. Shi Zhongmin, a pioneer in the "AI+Arbitration" vertical field and founder of Zhongping Huiding, three top experts in the industry, shared their unique insights on artificial intelligence academic research, industry development, investment and financing, innovation and entrepreneurship, bringing valuable cutting-edge information and first-hand experience to entrepreneurs and investors on site. Professor Chen Junlong's keynote speech is titled "Building the Future Industry Development with New Artificial Intelligence". He pointed out that artificial intelligence is transitioning from single point breakthroughs to multimodal integration, in line with the development trend of industries such as cloud edge intelligent collaboration, embodied intelligence, big health, and digital parallel humans. Artificial intelligence technology will give strong impetus to the innovative development of the digital economy industry. Dr. Wang Bing analyzed from an investment perspective, emphasizing that "technology hardcore+business closed loop" is the core competitiveness of current AI entrepreneurship projects, and stated that his team has focused on segmented tracks such as surgical robots and industrial quality inspection. Dr. Shi Zhongmin shared his entrepreneurial experience and, based on his own entrepreneurial journey, talked about the "traps" that postdoctoral scientists and other entrepreneurial teams need to avoid. The "Artificial Intelligence+Labor Arbitration" L4 level intelligent arbitration system, led by Dr. Shi Zhongmin, was first explored in Nanhai District, Foshan City in 2024. Hard Core Roadshow: Showcasing the AI+BOT Innovation Hard Power of the Bay Area. This event invited 6 "hard core" projects for on-site roadshow promotion, including excellent projects from the 2nd Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Innovation Competition and other high potential growth projects, covering areas such as artificial intelligence application in healthcare, digital services, labor arbitration, etc. Dr. Guo Jian, the person in charge of the special prize project "New Generation Pan vascular Interventional Surgical Robot" in the entrepreneurship competition group, introduced that the remote interventional medical robot developed by his team can effectively reduce the risk of radiation exposure to doctors, improve treatment accuracy and surgical efficiency. The roadshow project has received recognition from numerous investment institutions on site, and many investors have expressed that this roadshow activity provides them with an opportunity to learn about emerging projects, which will help them make more informed investment decisions in the future. At the on-site docking session, 31 outstanding project representatives held negotiations with over 70 investment and financing institutions, incubation institutions, industrial parks, and technology demand units. Among them, 10 projects have signed cooperation contracts with technology demanders, scenario application ends, and industrial parks on site, and 12 projects will further connect with 15 investment institutions and technology demand units. As the top scorer of the competition, Guangzhou Tianyi Technology Co., Ltd. and Dr. Wen Mingxing's team from the China Singapore International Joint Research Institute will collaborate on the construction of a "multi-source heterogeneous unmanned system intelligent perception technology platform" and jointly build a technology laboratory. As a large-scale entrepreneurial project in the vertical field of "AI+Arbitration", Zhongcai Huijue signed a contract with the Labor Dispute Arbitration Institute of Foshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau at the event site, committed to exploring a new path of deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and labor arbitration applications, and promoting the intelligence of the entire process of labor arbitration. It is reported that this event is an important part of the launch ceremony of the 2025 National Urban Joint Recruitment of College Graduates Spring Special Session and the "Million Talents Gathering in Southern Guangdong" Spring Large scale Job Fair jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government.
