Recently, the author learned from the Provincial Administration for Market Regulation that Guangdong is striving to add more than 15000 units with trustworthy consumption commitments and over 4500 offline stores with unconditional return commitments throughout the year. Since last year, Guangdong has launched various forms of special actions to boost consumption. Deeply carry out the action of reassuring consumption for urban and rural residents. Deploy and carry out the ten major actions of reassuring consumption, organize various regions and departments to jointly promote ten aspects of actions, including caring for seedlings and elderly, reassuring purchase, safe consumption through off campus training, reassuring campus food safety, trustworthy consumption with accurate measurement, and promoting consumption promotion for enterprises, so that the public can truly perceive the effectiveness of the reassuring consumption action. Guangdong has also carried out multiple special rectification campaigns, including the "Ten Hundred Thousand" campaign to improve product quality, the full chain rectification campaign for safety hazards of electric bicycles, the special rectification campaign for fire products, the protection campaign for children and student supplies, and the special campaign to identify and rectify quality and safety hazards of key products. 4274 problems have been identified and urged to be rectified. Last year, Guangdong completed a total of 1.003 million batches of food inspections, carried out rapid inspections of 8.996 million batches of edible agricultural products, and completed on-site inspections of 300 student collective dining delivery units and 2652 batches of sampling monitoring. Continuously conducting online monitoring of online ordering, 793 suspected illegal clues with incomplete licenses were discovered, 294 notices of rectification were issued, 56 cases were filed (including warnings), and 156 households were taken offline. By 2025, the market supervision system of Guangdong Province will deepen the campaign of reassuring consumption, vigorously rectify prominent problems in the consumption field, continuously improve the efficiency of consumer rights protection, and consolidate the joint governance of consumer environment construction, striving to add more than 15000 reassuring consumption commitment units and more than 4500 offline no reason return commitment stores throughout the year.
