Statistics show that in 2024, Macau's service exports will increase by 9.2% year-on-year, and internal demand (including private consumption expenditure, government final consumption expenditure, and investment) will also record a growth of 2.3%. The per capita gross domestic product, which is used to measure the average value of goods and services produced per population, is 588000 yuan, an increase of 7.6% year-on-year. In 2024, various economic activities in Macau continued to recover, coupled with a stable job market, driving an annual growth of 4.9% in private consumption expenditure. Among them, the final consumption expenditure of households in the local market increased by 3.8%, and the expenditure in other places increased by 11.1%. On the other hand, as companies continued to increase their investment in Australia during the year, the total fixed capital formation increased by 4.6% year-on-year, with private construction investment and private equipment investment rising by 5.1% and 31.1% respectively.
