At present, the number of cases received has reached 4789, achieving full coverage of common charges and multiple causes of occurrence. The influence of the People's Court case library is becoming increasingly significant, with over 22 million views and visits to more than 120 countries. It has become an important window for interpreting the law through cases and showcasing China's fair judiciary to the world. The Supreme People's Court requires that when judges hear enforcement cases, they should search the case database of the people's court, strictly follow the law and judicial interpretations, and refer to similar cases in the database to make judgments. With the continuous promotion of the construction and use of the case library, the case awareness of judges across the country is constantly improving, and the reference and demonstration effectiveness of the recorded cases is gradually emerging. In 2024, more than 180000 courts across the country referred to imported cases in their judgments, using imported cases to explain laws, reasoning, and settle disputes, effectively promoting fair and efficient trials and resolving conflicts substantively. The Supreme People's Court stated that the construction of the People's Court case database can only be carried out when it is in progress and not yet completed.
