New Archaeological Discoveries Revealed in China in 2024

On February 19th, the "Archaeology Forum of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences · 2024 New Archaeological Discoveries in China" was held at the Chinese Academy of History in Beijing. Six domestic archaeological projects, including the Dadong Paleolithic Site in Helong City, Jilin Province, the Xiatang Neolithic Site in Xianju County, Zhejiang Province, the Majiayao Cultural Settlement in Siwa Site in Lintao County, Gansu Province, the Zhouyuan Site in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, the Wuwangdun Late Warring States Tomb No. 1 in Huainan City, Anhui Province, and the Yuan Ming Qing Porcelain Industry Site Group in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, as well as the Mengzha Iron Pei Site Archaeological Project in Uzbekistan, have been awarded the title of "2024 New Archaeological Discoveries in China".
