According to the data released by the People's Bank of China recently, the scale of China's bond market will grow steadily in 2024, with a total of 79.3 trillion yuan of bonds issued in the bond market, up 11.7% year on year. Among them, the interbank bond market issued bonds worth 70.4 trillion yuan, and the exchange market issued bonds worth 8.9 trillion yuan. The financial market operation released by the People's Bank of China shows that in 2024, treasury bond will issue 12.4 trillion yuan, local government bonds will issue 9.8 trillion yuan, financial bonds will issue 10.4 trillion yuan, corporate credit bonds will issue 14.5 trillion yuan, credit asset-backed securities will issue 270.38 billion yuan, and interbank deposit receipts will issue 31.5 trillion yuan. In addition, China's bond market is open to the outside world smoothly and orderly. By the end of 2024, the custodian balance of overseas institutions in China's bond market was 4.2 trillion yuan, accounting for 2.4% of the custodian balance in China's bond market.
