Some website platforms and accounts hype up major military operations, expose high-tech weapons and equipment, speculate on sensitive issues related to national defense and military reform, fabricate and spread false military information, and some even leak military secrets. Especially in the current situation of rapid development of social media, the military website platform, website platform military columns and military accounts have low threshold for operation and maintenance, imperfect supervision, and security risks caused by new technologies and new applications. It is urgent to promote the implementation and source governance of the Internet military information dissemination management system from the perspective of laws and regulations.
