2025 National Spring Festival Culture and Tourism Consumption Month Launch

On January 15th, 2025, the main event of the National Spring Festival Culture and Tourism Consumption Month was held in Changchun, Jilin Province, officially launching the National Spring Festival Culture and Tourism Consumption Month. In order to further innovate diversified consumption scenarios and promote cultural and tourism consumption, the Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will hold the 2025 National Spring Festival Culture and Tourism Consumption Month from January to February. Around the theme of "Culture and Tourism Benefiting the People, Enjoying a Better Life for the People", various regions will be organized to plan and implement rich and colorful cultural and tourism consumption activities, launch diverse cultural and tourism new products and scenarios, and better meet the cultural and tourism consumption needs of the masses during the festival period. At the home event, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, together with Sinopec, launched the "Hundred Cities, Thousand Stations" cultural and tourism consumption action plan. The China Meteorological Administration released products and consumption measures for ice and snow tourism, cold shelter and health preservation, and the cultural and tourism departments of Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia jointly released the action plan for coordinated development of ice and snow economy and regional cooperation in cultural and tourism consumption in Northeast China. Industry associations such as the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, China Toy and Baby Products Association, financial institutions such as China UnionPay and Agricultural Bank of China, as well as some airlines, have released Spring Festival cultural and tourism themed activities, measures to benefit the people, and high-quality products based on their own industry sectors. During the Spring Festival Consumption Month, local governments will hold more than 4000 cultural tourism consumption activities of about 27000 times, and introduce consumer friendly measures such as consumption coupons, discount tickets, full consumption reduction, discount packages, etc., to bring about affordable and convenient cultural tourism experience, create a happy and peaceful festival atmosphere, make tourism and cultural years become new year customs, and empower the people to live a better life during the Spring Festival holiday. During the home event, the Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized a special scheduling meeting on ice and snow tourism consumption, making arrangements and deployments to implement the "Several Measures for Further Cultivating New Growth Points and Prosperous Culture and Tourism Consumption" issued by the General Office of the State Council and promote ice and snow tourism consumption.
