A total of 11 grassroots organizations and 10 "Overseas Chinese Home" positions were selected in Guangdong Province.
Among them, the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation was awarded the honorary title of "Typical Grassroots Organization Selection Unit of the National Overseas Chinese Federation System for 2023-2024", making it the only selected unit in Guangzhou and the first time the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation has received this type of honorary title.
The relevant person in charge of the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation introduced that the Liwan District's "Service for Overseas Chinese · One Call, One Response" system, the Xiguan Yongqing Fang China Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Base, the diversified resolution mode of overseas Chinese disputes, and the construction of new overseas Chinese home positions have been fully recognized by the China Overseas Chinese Federation. In the future, the Liwan District Overseas Chinese Federation will continue to leverage the advantages and characteristics of urban overseas Chinese hometowns, effectively play a typical demonstration role, and demonstrate the greatest achievements of the overseas Chinese community with new attitudes, styles, and actions to achieve high-quality economic and social development in Liwan, making greater contributions to the overseas Chinese community.
