It is reported that on December 4, 2024, a major road collapse accident occurred at the construction site of Section 5 of the Shenjiang Railway in Hangcheng Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Currently, 13 people are missing. The State Council Work Safety Committee has decided to implement listed supervision on the investigation and handling of this major accident, and requires Guangdong Province to organize and carry out accident investigations in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and rules such as the "Regulations on Reporting and Investigating Work Safety Accidents", quickly identify the cause of the accident, and strictly study and propose handling opinions in accordance with the requirements of accident investigation regulations. Before the accident is closed, the accident investigation report (draft) must be submitted to the Office of the State Council Work Safety Committee for review and approval. Guangdong Province is responsible for approving the closure and making it public to the society.
