The "Art Garden Gathering Heroes -2024 National Outstanding Young Art Talents (Opera Jingxing, Band Lead) Exhibition" jointly organized by the Literature and Art Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, the Domestic Liaison Department of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the China Theatre Association opened on November 16 at the National Theatre of the Central Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe. 27 young actors and performers of Opera Jingxing and Band Lead will give 4 performances in 4 days. According to reports, the performance covers 12 operas, including Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera, Pingju Opera, Longju Opera, Qin Opera Opera, Hunan Flower Drum Opera, Puju Opera, Jin Opera, Lvju Opera, Guangdong Opera, Yue Opera, and Ganju Opera, as well as nine main musical instruments of the band, namely, Beijing Hu, Drum (percussion), Bamboo Flute, Banhu, Zhuqin, Gaohu, Erxian, Ganhu, and Zhuhu. The participating teams come from drama troupes and universities across the country. The average age of the performers and performers is 34 years old. The organizer stated that this exhibition aims to build a high standard, professional, and mechanistic platform for young opera art talents across the country, support young opera talents to take on the lead and become the main characters, create an atmosphere of "big training and big competition" in the opera industry, promote the balanced development of various professions and specialties, and strive to form a talent growth environment and a situation where talents are recognized, loved, respected, and utilized in the opera industry.
