The mass line is the Party's fundamental work route. At present, the purpose consciousness and mass concept of Party members and cadres are strengthened, and the relationship between the Party and the masses and between cadres and the masses is closer. However, there are also some problems that need to be attention to. General Secretary Xi Jinping profoundly analyzed some of the problems that cadres have in implementing the Party's mass line, one of which is "some are to deal with the masses, afraid of getting into trouble when contacting the masses, afraid of being unable to get rid of the masses when communicating with them, and of being troubled when doing things for the masses." If leading cadres want to better connect with and serve the masses, educate and publicize the masses, and and unite the masses, they must first be willing to deal with the masses.
