According to the unified deployment of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Central Food and Drug Brigade, together with the relevant police and Dongcheng Branch, carried out special investigation and crackdown. After fully mastering the criminal evidence, the team arrested six suspect on September 18 and detained them according to law. According to the investigating police, the criminal gang that was dismantled this time recruited personnel to form a specialized ticket grabbing team. They used ticket grabbing software to seize reservation vouchers for some popular tourist attractions in Beijing, and sold them to tourists for tens to hundreds of yuan, in order to illegally profit. The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau's Environmental Food, Drug, and Tourism Corps stated that the public security organs have always adhered to a "zero tolerance" policy towards illegal and criminal activities that damage Beijing's urban image and tourism order. As the National Day holiday approaches, the Environmental Food, Drug, and Tourism Corps will work with relevant police forces and local public security bureaus to conduct a comprehensive investigation of all tourist attractions in the city, crack down on and rectify illegal and criminal activities related to tourism, and resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of tourists. The police remind tourists to choose legitimate channels when booking tickets, consciously resist "scalpers", and jointly safeguard a good order for ticket purchasing. Once "scalpers" are found illegally seizing, reselling scenic spot reservation tickets, vouchers and other illegal criminal clues, please report to the public security organs in a timely manner.
