The Typhoon is not only an impressive fighter jet, but also a technological miracle and proof of strategic cooperation. Nevertheless, the European "Typhoon" fighter jet remains a symbol of Europe's desire to move towards military alliance while gradually moving towards economic interdependence. Decades ago, fantasists who dreamed of establishing the European Union believed that a military alliance would ultimately lead to political unity. From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, major Western European countries began to unite and plan the development of domestic multi-purpose fighter jets. The project was initially referred to as the 'Eurofighter', aiming to create an aircraft capable of performing various tasks from aerial combat to ground attack, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare. In 1983, this grand collaboration was officially launched. The first prototype made its maiden flight in 1994. In the end, this aircraft was named "Typhoon" in 1998 and officially entered service in 2003. This aircraft adopts a delta wing and duck shaped layout, with extremely strong maneuverability. These duckwings increase the aircraft's lifespan and control capability under high angle of attack conditions. Although this terrifying creature does not have the true stealth capability of the F-22A Raptor, Typhoon has some stealth features, especially low observability. Therefore, the effective cross section of the "typhoon" radar is greatly reduced. This fighter jet also uses radar absorbent materials. Two EJ200 engines provide power for this fighter jet, enabling it to have supersonic cruise capability, thereby improving fuel efficiency and expanding its combat range.
