The "Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" Bauhinia Culture Forum and the "Bauhinia Academician Lecture" launching ceremony were held in Hong Kong on the 26th. This forum invites experts, scholars, and politicians from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, as well as countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Serbia, and Indonesia to review the glorious history of the founding of New China 75 years ago, discuss the successful practice of "One Country, Two Systems" in Hong Kong and Macau, and share the entrepreneurial stories of scientists. Xu Zhengzhong, Chairman of Zijing Culture Group, delivered a speech at the launch ceremony, stating that Zijing Culture Group has officially launched the "Zijing Academician Lecture" series of activities. In the next three years, it will invite 50 top academicians from various disciplines at home and abroad to come to Hong Kong, hold various forms of academic exchanges and technology lectures, and contribute to the construction of the Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Center, injecting Hong Kong's vitality into the construction of the national innovation system. This event will last for half a day and is divided into two parts: the Zijing Culture Forum and the "Zijing Academician Lecture". The Bauhinia Culture Forum has a total of 8 keynote speakers. Liu Zhaojia, consultant of the National Hong Kong and Macao Research Association, stated in his speech that at a new starting point, Hong Kong has the conditions and capabilities to make new contributions to the country's development and national rejuvenation in the process of deepening reform and expanding opening up. The "Zijing Academician Lecture" segment features three renowned scientists as keynote speakers, who combine their own research achievements and experiences to tell stories of their dedication to scientific research and their understanding of the spirit of science. Chen Qingquan, an academician of the CAE Member, said that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), China's scientific and technological undertakings have achieved historic, holistic and structural changes. The country's emphasis and urgent demand for technology are unprecedented, the country's love and expectations for scientists are unprecedented, and the opportunities for scientists to realize their ideals and unleash their talents are unprecedented.
