The 12th Yao Foundation Charity Tournament will be held on the evening of the 20th at the AsiaWorld Expo in Hong Kong. The two participating teams are the International Star Team led by American professional basketball star James Harden and the Chinese Star Team led by Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) champion Liaoning. Yao Ming, founder of Yao Fund and chairman of the Chinese Basketball Association, attended the pre match press conference held in Hong Kong on the same day and took a photo with Chinese and foreign players who appeared at the conference. This is the first time in seven years that the Yao Foundation Charity Competition has been held in Hong Kong. Most of the players on the Chinese star team in this charity match come from Liaoning team, which has won three consecutive CBA championships. In addition to Guo Ailun and Han Dejun, there are also players such as Liu Yanyu, Li Xiaoxu, Cong Mingchen, and Yuan Shuai. The Chinese star team specially invited Du Feng as the head coach. The invited head coach of the international star team is Ugo, the assistant coach of Liaoning team. In addition to Harden, the players also include Paul George, Butler, and Kuzma.
