On the afternoon of August 14th, the "Help Health Walk" project, sponsored by the Liwan District Civil Affairs Bureau, Liwan District Disabled Persons' Federation, and Chongkou Street Office, entered the Chongkou Street Party and Mass Service Center in Liwan District. Through health themed lectures and free medical services, intelligent medicine box distribution, and accessible car travel and medical services, it comprehensively protects the healthy life of disabled and elderly people in Liwan District. It is reported that the "Help Health Walk" - Barrier free Health Protection Service Project is led by Guangzhou Rongai Social Service Center and is one of the first social organization public welfare venture capital activity funding projects in Liwan District. The project mainly focuses on the health service needs and special needs of people with disabilities and the elderly, creating a multidimensional health protection network for individuals, families, and communities. During the event, volunteers distributed smart medicine boxes to nearly 50 disabled people and helped them adapt to smart medicine boxes. Smart medication boxes will help people with disabilities take their medication at designated times and avoid forgetting to take it. In order to help people with disabilities better master the use of smart medicine boxes, volunteers use video and on-site teaching methods to assist people with disabilities in learning how to use smart medicine boxes. The on-site traditional Chinese medicine conditioning stalls attracted residents to participate. In addition, activities such as traditional Chinese medicine physical examinations, comprehensive TCM conditioning consultations, and pain conditioning were carried out, allowing community residents to enjoy convenient and professional medical services at their doorstep. Community residents can also consult medical staff about their health status, disease symptoms, and other issues. It is worth mentioning that residents can experience the "Barrier Free Driving" project on site, which aims to provide safe, convenient, and comfortable barrier free transportation to help those in need solve their travel problems and facilitate their medical treatment smoothly. In addition, the project has also established a party mass volunteer service team to provide personalized assistance and support for the medical travel of those in need.
