Kaiping adopts the cooperation model of "resources+capital+intelligence" and invests about 6.6 billion yuan to promote the protection, revitalization, and utilization of buildings in the famous Chinese historical and cultural town of Chikan Overseas Chinese Ancient Town. It aims to build it into a demonstration area for historical and cultural protection and revitalization, a window and platform for showcasing overseas Chinese culture, and a new landmark for cultural tourism in the Greater Bay Area. In July of this year, Xinhua News Agency's Outlook Think Tank released the "2024 Most Promising Cultural and Tourism Cities Report", and Jiangmen successfully ranked among the 12 "Most Promising Cultural and Tourism Cities" in China.
