The opening ceremony of the Hong Kong National Security Exhibition Hall was held on the 6th at the Hong Kong Museum of History. Li Jiachao stated in his speech that the purpose of setting up a national security exhibition hall is to raise citizens' awareness of safeguarding national security and promote national security education in the community. Safeguarding national security is the responsibility of the SAR Government and the common obligation of all Chinese people, including Hong Kong residents. The SAR government will fully and accurately implement the "One Country, Two Systems" policy, and steadfastly safeguard national sovereignty, security, and development interests. Zheng Yanxiong stated that the establishment of the National Security Exhibition Hall at the Hong Kong Museum of History, a place of great significance, is not only a practical action taken by the SAR on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the overall national security concept, but also a garden created by the SAR to facilitate citizens' understanding of national security and enhance their awareness of national security.
