In recent days, due to heavy rainfall, multiple rivers in Chongqing have experienced floods exceeding the warning water level, causing flooding disasters in many areas. Some houses have been flooded, roads have been blocked, and people have been trapped. The officers and soldiers of the stationed troops in Chongqing, as well as the militia, responded to orders and rushed to the scene to carry out emergency rescue operations, fully ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. On the afternoon of July 11th, the Chongqing Armed Police Corps launched an emergency rescue plan and dispatched over a hundred officers and soldiers, carrying rescue equipment and supplies, to rush to the disaster stricken areas. They carried out tasks such as clearing roads, transferring people, transporting supplies, and dredging the road surface, making every effort to help local residents reduce property losses and restore normal production and living order as soon as possible. The Chongqing Garrison quickly organized militia from six districts and counties, including Changshou District, Liangping District, Kaizhou District, Fengdu County, Dianjiang County, and Wuxi County, to participate in emergency rescue and disaster relief. As of 19:00 on the 11th, more than 1800 people have been relocated and more than 30 tons of materials have been transported. Next, the officers and soldiers of the Chongqing Armed Police Corps will continue to strengthen their vigilance and patrols to prevent secondary disasters such as mudslides and landslides. The Chongqing Garrison District organized militia to continuously carry out safety precautions, road dredging, and other work, while strengthening contact with local emergency and meteorological departments, improving the mechanism for issuing warning information and emergency response linkage, and being ready for emergency rescue at any time.
