The notice states that starting from 9:00 am on June 30, 2024, the first phase of the resumption of customs clearance for goods and their transportation vehicles at Hengqin Port will be officially implemented. Freight vehicles approved to pass through Hengqin Port in the Notice of Approval for Motor Vehicle Traffic and Driver Driving between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao shall resume customs clearance through Hengqin Port. It is reported that at present, the Hengqin Port has only resumed the clearance of goods between Qinzhou and Macau, and goods passing through the cooperation zone (goods directly traveling between mainland China and Macau through the cooperation zone) cannot be cleared temporarily; The customs clearance arrangements for fresh products and their transportation vehicles supplied to Australia, as well as for hazardous chemicals and their transportation vehicles supplied to Australia, will remain unchanged. The customs clearance time for goods and transportation vehicles at Hengqin Port is from 9:00 to 17:00 daily (including Saturdays, Sundays, and statutory holidays). The import and export of goods through Hengqin Port should be completed through electronic customs declaration. The notice clearly states that trucks passing through Hengqin Port, with a length exceeding 16m, a width exceeding 2.5m, and a height exceeding 4.25m (calculated from the ground), as well as those that need to clear customs outside the time of truck passage at Hengqin Port, must apply in advance to the traffic police department of the cooperation zone public security organs and the inspection units of Guangdong and Macao ports, and make an appointment for clearance. The relevant departments of Guangdong and Macao will gradually improve the customs clearance arrangements for goods and their transportation vehicles at Hengqin Port in stages based on actual needs, and the specific arrangements will be announced separately.
