Celebrating the Return of China and Welcoming National Day, Children from Lai Hong Kong and Macao Draw the Future of the Greater Bay Area

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong's return, and the 25th anniversary of Macau's return, the first "Childlike Heart Painting · concentric circles" Lai Hong Kong and Macau Children's Day Painting Competition Awards Ceremony was held at the Tsim Sha Tsui Hall in Hong Kong on June 9th. Xu Qinsong, Honorary Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Advisor to the China Artists Association, and Executive Director of the Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Art Research Institute, An Jianguo, Standing Committee Member and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Liwan District Committee, Lu Ping, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Liwan District Committee, Chen Chunbin, Third level Researcher of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Work Office of the United Front Work Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee, Yu Jianqiang, Civil Affairs Commissioner of Yau Tsim Mong in Hong Kong, Zuo Zhongxian, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and nearly 500 award-winning student representatives and parents from Liwan, Hong Kong, and Macau attended the event. At the on-site award ceremony, Chairman Zuo Zhongxian expressed heartfelt congratulations to the children who participated in the event and won awards. He stated that the "Childlike Heart Painting · concentric circles" painting competition is not only a grand event for artistic creation, but also an important opportunity to enhance the friendship and cultural exchange among children in the three regions. He hopes that all sectors of society can continue to contribute to the integration of the Greater Bay Area. In his speech, Chairman Xu Qinsong pointed out that the award-winning works not only showcase the artistic talent and creativity of the participating children, but also demonstrate their aspirations and pursuit for a better future. He believes that children from different regions have conveyed the cultural characteristics of their hometown through their own paintings, and together they have painted a beautiful future full of imagination and creativity. These wonderful works will undoubtedly stimulate more children's interest in art and further promote the inheritance and development of excellent Chinese culture. Xu Qinsong's Speech Vice Minister Lu Ping stated in his speech that the painting competition has received widespread attention and support from the three regions of Li, Hong Kong, and Macao. The painting works fully demonstrate the children's love for their hometown and blessings for their motherland. She believes that through this activity, children will continue to shine on the path of art with a love for artistic creation and a vision for a better future. She also hopes that this competition can become an important platform for promoting artistic exchanges among children in the Bay Area, providing them with a stage to showcase their personal talents and experience cultural charm, and looks forward to further exchange activities in the future. Lu Ping's Speech It is understood that this competition is organized by the Guangzhou Liwan Overseas Association, Hong Kong Liwan Club Association, and Art Hong Kong, co organized by the Macau Liwan Association, and supported by the Yau Tsim Mong Civil Affairs Office. The competition team received nearly 2000 works in total. After careful screening by the jury, 20 first prizes, 60 second prizes, 100 third prizes, 120 excellent prizes, and 6 organizational prizes were ultimately selected. On that day, the works of the award-winning students were displayed on both sides of the venue. The students used colorful colors to depict their love for the motherland and their enthusiasm for the integration and development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and for everyone to work together to build the Chinese Dream.
