In order to promote the comprehensive implementation of the Social Insurance Law and promote the healthy development of social insurance work, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress officially launched an inspection of the enforcement of the Social Insurance Law on the 4th. The Social Insurance Law came into effect on July 1, 2011, and is the first comprehensive law in China to regulate the social insurance system. On the 4th, the reporter learned from the first plenary session of the Social Insurance Law Enforcement Inspection Group of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress that this law enforcement inspection adopts a combination of law enforcement inspection groups going to local areas for inspection and entrusting provincial people's congress standing committees for inspection. From June to July, the law enforcement inspection team conducted on-site inspections in six provinces (regions, cities) including Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Sichuan, and Ningxia. From May to August, entrusted the Standing Committees of the People's Congress of six provinces (cities), including Liaoning, Zhejiang, Anhui, Henan, Chongqing, and Qinghai, to inspect the implementation of the Social Insurance Law in their respective administrative regions. In the law enforcement inspection, the inspection team will focus on six aspects of content: the basic situation of social insurance contributions and benefits enjoyed by various types of insurance; Implementation of responsibilities of social insurance related departments; The safe operation and supervision management of social insurance funds; Construction of social insurance management system; The promotion and education of the Social Insurance Law, as well as the formulation of supporting regulations and rules; The main problems and suggestions in the implementation of the Social Insurance Law, as well as the situation where legal provisions are not in line with reform and development, and suggestions for revision. In mid September, the law enforcement inspection team will hold its second plenary meeting to summarize the work of law enforcement inspections, study and discuss the draft of the law enforcement inspection report, and revise and improve it based on the discussion opinions.
